For many of us freelance copywriters, it’s the dream of going full-time in the business. Of leaving the “day job,” and being totally in charge of our life.
Working from anywhere at any time… that’s what called many of us to this business, right?
Perhaps you’ve written down your perfect writer’s life. What it looks like, what it feels like… maybe even what it smells and tastes like!
Maybe you’ve written down what your ideal day would entail.
If not, I’d recommend you do that… today!
Begin seeing yourself as a full-time freelance copywriter and do a little daydreaming. There is a lot of science that justifies daydreaming as a tool to drive toward success.
Writing down what your writer’s life would look like also serves another important purpose.
Once you know what you want to accomplish, you can begin formulating a strategy to get there.
Don’t forget, however, that much of your writer’s life often becomes a reality during the journey itself.
I’ve written previously about that idea. Many things I wanted to accomplish with a full-time freelance business are actually happening now.
But, getting to the point of going full-time has been on my mind a lot lately. I really need to get that done.
And recent events showed me some unexpected ways to start moving faster in that direction.
